Update regarding the GFFHHOA special assessment vote:
Voting, which began by absentee paper ballot on April 11th and culminated on May 22nd, allowed for the counting of: 1) all absentee ballots, 2) ballots cast in person on May 22nd, and 3) ballots postmarked by May 22nd coming to the GFFHOA P.O. Box via mail.
Ballots were counted by GFFHOA-appointed inspectors. Some ballots, missing required information, needed to be cured in order to be counted. With the Memorial Day holiday, all cured ballots were returned by 5/30.
However, the Board received a formal complaint from a member about the way the vote was conducted. We are pausing the announcement of the results of the vote pending consultation with legal counsel regarding how to proceed.
We thank everyone for their patience while the GFFHOA Board completes this special assessment vote.
